Available now | UK, Australia, and Germany

NEW: We now ask candidates for the right information up front and automate more of the review, so reports are less likely to stop for a preventable exception.

What's Changing

  • UK criminal: Candidates now provide their National Insurance Number as a required, format-checked field, with an "I don't have a number" option so no one who legitimately lacks one is blocked. The application flow also captures the town and country of birth, including for Scotland and Northern Ireland.

  • UK education: The HEDD consent form now comes pre-filled for candidates and uses standardized authorization language. We also fixed an issue so the signed consent PDF attaches correctly.

  • Australia criminal: Australian Federal Police form handling is now fully automated in production.

  • Germany: The German consent form has been removed from the flow, so candidates have one less document to complete.

Important Details

  • No action needed: These improvements are live and apply automatically to the affected checks.

  • Why it matters: Missing or malformed details at intake are a common reason international reports stall. Collecting them up front helps reports finish sooner.

  • What's next: We are continuing to reduce exceptions, including work on the Netherlands VOG and further Australian criminal automation.
