Hide the expiration date on drug tests

DATE:
AUTHOR: Checkr

What's the update? Employers can now choose to hide or expose the pass expiration date for drug tests.

Why is this important?

  • The option to hide the expiration date helps prevent manipulation of the testing process.

  • Hiding the date discourages employees from delaying their clinic visit in an attempt to alter test results.

  • This feature is especially useful for employers needing post accident or reasonable suspicion tests completed within a specific window of time where displaying a longer expiration date might lead to testing delays.
